I'm waiting on a video to upload to fb. I'm waiting for Jason to finish talking to his brother. I'm waiting for a headache to go away. While I wait, I'll tell about a fun thing we did today. My daughter was invited to a party at a rock climbing place. I was a bit skeptical that she would enjoy it. She is never one to miss out on a party, so we went. She LOVED it. Surprisingly, she was good at it as well. She scampered up the wall several times. She almost made it all the way to the top that last time. I did not climb because I did not wear the proper footwear. I couldn't imagine climbing in loafers. I rock climbed years ago and remember it being fun. She can't wait to go back...I guess I'll have to see how I do since I am now 10 years older than the last time I climbed.
I also picked up up a two tier bookshelf on the side of the road today. This week is heavy garbage pickup. Every other month residents can put out large items that will not fit in their regular can. The alternating months are for tree waste. This month is residential garbage. As I was zipping down a road close to our house, I saw this shelf that looked decent. Of course I had about two seconds to evaluate it. I didn't have time to stop, so I called Jason and sent him after it. He picked it up. When I got home today, I looked at it and it looks like it has potential. It needs some minor repair work (Jason's job) and a coat of stain and poly (my job) and it is good to go. Of course, I don't need another project, but who can pass on a free shelf?
